Poshmark

Do you love going to thrift stores? Have you ever wanted to raid your favorite blogger's closet? Well, have you heard about Poshmark?

It's this awesome website/app where you can buy and sell, mostly clothing, to people from all over! It's actually really simple. I've already sold two items on there.

Basically, if you want to sell at item, you just upload a few images of it, add a description, determine how much you want to sell it for, and then post! Poshmark takes care of everything else. They charge the buyer a $4.99 shipping fee and then they charge you, the seller, a seller fee. For sales under $15, they take out $2.95. If you sale the item for more than $15, they keep 20%. Once you sale the item, you receive an email with a shipping label. You package the item, slap the shipping label on the package, and hand it over to USPS to be shipped! Once the buyer receives their item, they have a couple days to determine if they want to keep it. After their time is up, if they haven't shipped the item back to you, then your account is credited the money.

I have been using this app since November and I really love it. One of my favorite plus size bloggers, Jolene aka Boardroom Blonde, has a closet on there. She's actually the reason I created an account and then I saw how easy it is to sell my own stuff!

So, with all this being said, please go check it out! Be sure to look up my closet (@msbandgeek90 - click here to go directly to my closet) and see what I'm selling.

One Dress, Six Outfits

For Christmas, my boyfriend bought me the gorgeous black dress from Rebel Wilson's Torrid Collection. I love it so much, I decided to see how many different ways it could be worn.

This dress is made from a very thick and soft material and the cut is flattering for all different body types — I highly recommend it :)

1. This first outfit is perfect for date night! It's cute but still comfy and laid back.

  • Jacket — Torrid
  • Shoes — Toms

2. This next one is my favorite. I like to think it's girly meets grunge. It would be a great outfit for a concert!

  • Plaid Shirt — Old Navy
  • Combat Boots — Torrid

3. Next, I decided to do a sophisticated "glam look". Basically, I went with all black and lots of bling.

  • Black Cardigan — Old Navy
  • Statement Necklace — Target

4. This fourth look features a lot of Grace and Lace pieces. I've mentioned before how much I love their scarves. They also have gorgeous cardigans and cozy leg warmers! I'm definitely bringing this outfit back next fall.

  • Cardigan — Grace and Lace
  • Leg Warmers — Grace and Lace
  • Scarf — Grace and Lace

5. Work outfits are something I'm always looking for. I like to find basic staple pieces that can be dressed up or down, so I can wear them to work as well. This dress is perfect for working in an office!

  • Jacket — Torrid
  • Heels — TJ Maxx

6. Last but not least, here it is paired with a gorgeous kimono! This look would be great for early spring.

  • Kimono — ASOS Curve
  • Booties — Modcloth

Also, I need to give a shout out and HUGE thank you to my amazing boyfriend, Tony. Not only did he buy me this adorable dress, but he also is my photographer for all my posts. This particular one took forever and it was pretty cold outside. Thank you, baby. I couldn't do it without you! <3
